About Me

My photo
I may look slim and svelte outside but what's really inside is a clump of lard. I am clumsy, crazy and flamboyant who loves jumping and leaping as I walk right down through the runway as part of my silly and squeaky side. On the other hand, I also am a lump of horrific and malefic miasma (lol). Surprisingly, (err, not really) I do love CATS! I love them so much, well actually, i love animals especially the weird and exotic ones like tarantulas, iguanas and geckos (weird, eh?). My crazy friends say that I am a Science Geek. I partly agree to that since I am a biology major. I am a honey Bee for spelling words, and I really hope that I don't misspell words here in my posts.

Circle of Friends

Indeed, life would be so much boring without forging companionship with other people. These people, whom we address as friends, surely have a lot of things hidden up to their sleeves to make us happy. They encourage us when we're down or they make things more lively to alleviate our moods. Needless to say, friends are precious, more even of any other gem. What makes them more important and more precious is their mere presence and the experiences we do together with them. Life is full of ups and downs and twists and turns and it will surely be hard as hell if you are to do all the things in it all by your self. My circle of friends, well, they are all crazy! And with all the craziness we share, it is only very rightful for me to acknowledge these people who has always been there for me both in the good and bad times.

10. MHENJIE CALE

Starting of with the undoubtedly the craziest friend I have, Mhenjie. She is political science student. One thing I like about Mhenjie is that she never forgets to smile whenever we meet each other at the corridor. She has a lot friends and I'm happy to be one of those. Mhenjie is one of people who is able to change the mood of the people around her in a single word. Let her talk to you and you will surely blast a big laugh after hearing her jokes. We have a lot of similarities and one of them is both of us possessing the beauty mother earth has bestown upon us (haha!). Whenever we have free time together, we always fish in the grand lake of MHAM lobby and we always have a good catch (if you know what I mean!). She is undoubtedly, one of my precious friends.

9. RUFFINNI ABALDE

Ruffinni, or just Finni. She is crazy and she knows that for sure. What I like about Finni is that she admires my works and accomplishments despite it being very dreadfully pangit (haha). She is the most sincere person I've ever known and she never forgets to compliment every single success her friends achieve. She laughs hard... and LOUD making it a contagious viral disease as it spreads all over the clump of friends. She also has a clumsy nature making her more funny in every action she makes. She sometimes utters words that are not meant to be a joke but she has the ability to make it sound funny. I could say it is a God-given talent for it can really alleviate heavy moods into light ones. Keep up the sincerity Finni!

8. PREDEN HART BIASONG

The model in the making and the growing seaweed (hahaha!), Preden Hart Biasong. We are taking up the same course. She is the epitome of being svelte. Hart possesses a golden heart. She listens to the sentiments of the people around her. She also gives advises to the people who need them, especially me who is a crazy person thinking about non-sense things. She is like a scale, without taking note of the similarities of their appearance (peace hart!), she can balance her time very wisely for studies and hang-outs. She does good in school too and I can see her Naningness in every corner of the biology department. Moreover, she also has time for unwinding and relaxing, recharging her brain before dueling against the mountains of books and photocopies again. What I know for sure about Hart is, she is a SEAWEED! :-p

7. LORD ORLEN ALLEGO

This is Lord Orlen Allego. Everyone calls her Al. The intelligence he possess is something everyone is dreaming of. If I am not mistaken, he's a constant dean's lister in our College. At first look, he's quite intimidating for me but I came to realize that he's funny the moment I knew more about him. He laughs hard, both at corny and non-corny jokes and makes jokes out of it (haha!). When Al is around, I am really inspired to study very hard because of his constant oozing intelligence aura that affects my lazy soul (lol). I envy Al for his skills in Tekken. Using his favorite character Emilie Rocherfort, more known as Lili, he only spends ten pesos at a nearby World of Fun defeating all other players. He's amazing, and I am really awe-stricken by his awesomeness. Well, that's Al for you!

6. SHIRLYN INOT

The picture above shows my beautiful friend, Shirlyn Inot, or just Ching. She is calm, honest, thoughtful and sincere. She has a lot of ideas inside her cerebral hemispheres and she possess the bravery to spill it out whenever it is necessary. She's pranka and I really admire her for being one. Her prankaness just goes out automatically when needed be in order to fight for her stand. She is also crazy and really laughs at even the corniest jokes we've ever heard. She is also a very caring person. Whenever we meet at parkmall waiting for jeepneys bound for Lapu-lapu city, she never forgets to send me a message to take care of myself and she constantly checks if I already have arrived. I treat her as an "ate" and having her as one is something I will forever treasure.

5. HAZEL AJENO

This is Hazel Ajeno. We use to call her Haze or Manang. I know her address, I think we all do. Was it KALASANGAN? Am I right or am I right? (Kidding!). Hazel is one of the mooooooost talkative person I've ever met exceeding an average girl spoken words of 5,000 because I think she speaks 10,000 per day. Not only that, she speaks with incredible speed and pitch that we always demand her to repeat what she was saying. However, despite her talkative and happy nature, and surprisingly (haha! :p), she is the vice-president of Jeanne Villahermosa in their society. What's good about her is that she always reminds us (but not verbally) no matter what the circumstances are, if it is a duty, then it is a duty and it must be carried out.  She even comes to school every Saturday just to fulfill the role of her office. Andun sa kanya yung pagiging responsable sa lahat ng bagay and she takes responsibility to herself for every action she has done. She is my friend and having her as one is one of the things I will forever cherish.

4. AMILOU ENCISO

The picture above shows my chubby and BEAUTIFUL friend (haha!), Amilou Enciso. I call her Ams or Amy. Amilou is the lax type, preferring to slack off more often than burning her calories (no wonder! Peace Ams). Amilou, is a laugher too, but not comparable to Jackie's level. Her very calm nature relaxes our busy souls amidst assignments and other school stuff. She is also of the silent type and rarely talks about people we encounter during our walks. She just laugh softly, like a demure French woman while me and Jackie are already laughing out our tonsils every time we see something very funny. She always complains about her size and luckily, she has the initiative to do exercise to burn the calories (slightly!), yet after a tiring day of workout, she couldn't stop her hands from sending food inside her mouth. I remember a very inspiring quote from her: "Baboy na kung baboy, tambok na kung tambok, basta BUSOG!" And another one: "Naaah bayut! Kalami ikaon labi na kung daghang rice!".

3. JEANNE VILLAHERMOSA

So Number 3 is Jeanne Villahermosa, we use call her JEYAN. I look up to her as my Friend/Mom in school because of her very motherly nature. She's really caring and loving (Andun sa kanya yung innate nature ng pagiging maalalahanin). I treat her not just a mere kabarkada, but as my best friend. Jeanne is not really into make up and dress up when she comes to school that's why I scold her every time I see her look like a YAYA. I always tell her to put some lipstick on but she always forgets about it. Maybe because she is the president of Social Work Society. School and RELATIONSHIP stuff (yes, capslock, bakit?) stress her out but she never forgets to hang out with us. I Love You Jee (eeiw!)

2. JACKIELYN DIN

This is Jackielyn Din. You can call her Jackie, Jake, HACKIE or whatever you like. Because of her boyish walking and loose-fitting apparels, she is always mistaken to be as a "tomboy" and everyone who doesn't know Jackie treats her as one. She always has this ability to laugh and laugh amidst the worst case scenarios. Jackie never runs out of the "hahaha". Whenever we're together (with Amilou), we just can't stop laughing and that is because of her happy outlook in life (char!). However, Jackie also has a serious side especially when it comes to academics. Jackie really does good in school, perfecting quizzes and exams. Having her as a friend especially during the sad times is PRICELESS. She can really turn gloomy mood into a gay one making everyone laugh of her clumsy nature. One thing's for sure about Jackie - SHE IS CRAZY! Mwuah!

1. CHESTER MARTINI VILLARIN

This is my number one friend, Chester. He's the most seductive friend I have (haha). Despite being seductive, Chester is a really good and a very concerned person. He always checks on me, asking me what am I doing, or  if I already ate. He is my best - EST friend. Actually, we are childhood friends and we both went here in Cebu for schooling. So you could say we're brothers. I call him "kuya" and he calls me "bunso". Moreover, Chester treats me food (yay! I love food!) whenever his busy schedule allows it. He buys me that blueberry cheesecake from Coffee Bean and in return, I buy him coffee of his choice. But his presence alone is like a like a star in a dark night, always making me feel safe and secured. Thanks Chester! :-)

THEY ARE MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS. In this book called life, it is important to build relationships. Although all of the people listed above are freaking crazy, I love them and I care a lot for them (eeeiw!). May it be a tiny little thing or huge, enormous stuff, I appreciate any and every little thing they've added into my life. Together with their existence, those are the things that has proven these people to be called as the arc of my circle of friends.

So yeah, they are my friends and I'm proud to have them. How about you?

Just Some Facts

Good Day Cats and Kittens,

I saw this post as I hovered over the internet this morning and I decided to post it here. So, enjoy some of the most random facts of the Earth (lol). I got this from 9GAG - Some Facts

To The Pinnacle of Glorifying Success

School life has never been easy. Assignments, projects, examinations, even having your own ball pen, yellow paper and other school stuff were just SOME of the problems we encounter year by year as we go along the path of education. Semester after semester, the subjects seem to get harder and schedules are getting more hectic, more busy that we even forget to unwind ourselves a little sometimes. Nevertheless, after a long night study, after answering those hell-hard, five-page major exams and after burning midnight candles, satisfaction is always guaranteed. Moreover, the things we do in school is not only for ourselves, but for our loved ones as well. Needless to say, the more we strive, the more of chances we get what we want - may it be a passing grade or a flat one.

In connection with this, some of my friends were bragging about my study habits. We all have our own habits, our own techniques in order for us to absorb all the knowledge found in our very textbooks and photocopies. Me? It might be little be different from yours, or maybe similar, but it doesn't matter. As long as you are comfortable studying, then learning is never to far to be achieved.

So, here are some of those things that I do so that I could understand easier and faster what Mr. Textbook is trying to teach me. With this, I could also retain as much as possible the things I have been studying all night long.

  1. READ, READ and READ. Common isn't it? But this is the very basic thing you must do for you to understand what is the topic all about. Read thoroughly and comprehend, otherwise, reading is just useless.
  2. WRITE IMPORTANT NOTES. Other people equip themselves with highlighters and underliners (lol). But for me, it is more effective to write it down in paper rather than coloring those words with neon green or orange. Writing it down will make you memorize the important words faster and retain it much longer. But either way is effective though.
  3. SAY IT LOUD. But be careful not to wake those who are already sleeping. Some people, like me, memorize things faster when I say it loud. I often found myself talking to myself when I am studying. And I really discuss the topics with myself (weird, eh?).
  4. MUNCH, EAT, SIP. Yes, when I study, I love putting something in my mouth, specifically peanuts. What's special about peanuts is that, they contain a lot of Taurine which is proven to increase the brain's capacity to learn and memorize and mental alertness. What's down for this is it also increases pimple risks. I also love having a cup of coffee during study time.
  5. TEST YOURSELF. It is also important to drill yourself to test if you really understood what you were studying. If your score is low, then review again and again until you get a satisfactory score, much better if perfect score, right?

Studying can be enjoyable if you devote yourself into it. Knowledge is honed by two factors: Experience and Following. Experience is your firsthand teacher. There are just some things which are impossible to experience, especially when the wallet is only filled with butterflies. That's when following enters the scene. Following means reading books, media, listening to advises and etc. The two act in an antagonistic way. They are both there to fill in for the thing the other one cannot do.

And that's how I study. How about you?

Let Go and Be Happy

Good Day Cutie Kitty Cat,

I really am an avid reader of different blogs on the internet and I came across the famous blogger Bianca Gonzales' blog and I found something really interesting, something that every man can relate to and something that every man can pull out some morals.

So yeah, this post is like a repost or something but I added it with my own style.

Ever felt of having something heavy in your heart? A burden or some kind of load? A feel of uneasiness? Well, that is really something and you must realize what is that something that keeps on bothering you. Here are some pieces of advises that you could try in order to be HAPPY:
  1. LET GO OF THE CLUTTERS IN YOUR LIFE. Material or emotional clutter, it is important to learn to let go of those things which are already messing out, things that are not under your command and beyond your ken. Work, school, home problems, issues in the family, friends, relationships and other people around you, all of these are already stressing you each and every day of your life. So why add more? Just let go.
  2. LET GO OF THE ENVY. Yes it's true that maybe you don't have something that other's have. But you also have to bite into the bright side that you also have something that others don't. Let go of the envy and take pride of what you have.
  3. LET GO OF PRETENSIONS. Hey! Why pretend to be other people when you have your own self? You yourself is a unique being and your experiences and values set you apart from the others. If no one will believe in you, then who will? Start from believing in yourself first and others will also believe in you.
  4. LET GO OF CLOSE-MINDEDNESS. We have different sets of ideas, values, principles and goals. And we all know that we cannot force all of these into others. If you keep on letting them bite on your ideas, then you are just wasting your energy and you'll be stressed forever. Always remember that each and every one of us is different.
Basically, we already know all of this but with all the things life is stressing in on us everyday, we may turn into the wrong curve and end up crashing into a tree. This is like a reminder to us all that sometimes, letting go is necessary to be happy. :-)

Warm Cheesy-Cake Experience

Konnichiwa Neko-dono,

I am not so happy today because of everything that happened. It was really depressing, disappointing and dreadfully... err, not good. First and foremost is about the weather. It was cold and windy when I woke up this morning making rising up from the bed twice as hard as waking up in a day with a normal weather. My nose, oh my nose! I really hate waking up in cold mornings because my nose just clog itself up! :-(

Secondly, we received a news that our teacher in microtechnique lecture will be replaced with someone else since her load is already full for this semester. What was good with our current teacher is that, she don't come to class on time so we don't have to wake up early for us not to be late in school since our schedule for microtechnique is MWF 7:00 - 8:00 am. She sometimes comes around 8 or even 8:30. But now, the hectic and early schedule rises again! NOOOOOOO!

Another thing that made my mood gloomy today was about my coach for the spelling bee. I really have a hard time practicing the words on my own since I really need someone who is able to pronounce the words correctly. But my coach is so busy with other things, then why volunteer to coach me? There are other teachers who are willing to coach me but she was chosen because she was good. But what can goodness do when she's not even present during training hours? Sheesh!

Oh well, afternoon came and my best friend CHESTER-rific brought me along with him to Ayala Center Cebu and he bought me my favorite, the blueberry cheesecake from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Company. So, YAY! Here are some snapshots:

Oh right, the person right there behind the table is my best friend, Chester. You can visit his facebook profile by clicking this link: Chester Martini Villarin.

So that's all for today. I really don't understand but everyday seems to feel gloomy. Maybe it's because of the weather. I hope so. :-/

Heels of the Mermaid

Mermaid Heel's strongest wizard, Kagura Mikazuchi. I love her (but I love cats more lol). Anyways, how in the world is she able slash her opponents without unsheathing her sword? During her fight with the former  Sabertooth Wizard, Yukino Agria who uses Celestial Spirit Magic, Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer of the 13th gate was slashed into four. And like what I've said, without drawing her Fugutaiten. Scary isn't it? But I still love her and I would like to see more of her in the upcoming episodes of Fairy Tail. And I also hope she will still be involved during the next arc. :-)

The Name of her sword is "The Sword of Resentment: Archenemy" or "Fugutaiten" as they call it in the anime. She used the "Style of the Undrawn Longsword" or "Onto" technique when she was attacking Ophiuchus.

Well, know more about this gal by clicking this link: KAGURA MIKAZUCHI

The Day of Half-Awesomeness

Good Day Kitten,

Today was 50% awesome and 50% .... not so awesome. Well actually, I kinda find this day a little bit tiring because of our activity on Physics this morning. Our teacher made us count those filthy, feculent, dirty, germful and rusty Soylas nails (hahaha, hyperbolic adjectives, eh?). Actually, it wasn't a pain in the butt, but it was really an energy-consuming job counting those tiny little trinkets. Oh yes, I used the word trinket since it's really PRECIOUS for us to know how many of them are in those paper boxes that we made this morning. Moreover, we are to find the mass of those nails since we need it for our data table. Oh Gosh! What's worse was there was only one scale available for us all so we had no choice but to wait for our turn to weigh those little things. That was the "not awesome" part of my day.

The awesome part was I am happy to know that my grade for both Prelims and Midterms for Physics was 1.0. Imagine, 1.0? Oh yes, it isn't that hard (I know that feel bro, meh!). Nevertheless, I'm so happy about it because this is the only BURDEN subject I have for this semester and, well, you know physics, with all those so-damn-hard-to-memorize formulas, getting a grade of flat one will really send confetti all over my bravura brain (lol).

Since I am happy, and I think my friends Jackie O'Lantern and AmiloPLASTID (since her name is Amilou and yes, I know the spelling of A-M-Y-L-O-P-L-A-S-T-I-D, just in case you're also a bee for words), about their grades in Physics, we went to play DotA (actually, we're still playing at this very moment) and with the blessing of the Queen Cat, we won the first match. Just please take note, even though we're not happy, even if the emotion is sad, angry, disappointed and even if it's just a normal day, we will still play DotA (lol).

The picture above is the hero Netherdrake. That's the hero I used during the first match. It's really cool since it is equipped with all those poison techniques. What's not-so-good about this character is it's speed since it is one of the slowest of all the heroes. But overall, it's really a pain to be its opponent.

:scratch - scratch: and :bite - bite:

On Which Side of the Coin?

Well, this is rather informal but I will just post this thing bothering my brain all over the weekend. I have been a very good person (err, not really). Okay, I admit it, let's just say, not VERY but still good nonetheless. I am doing good in school, in fact, I really got good grades. I study every night burning my midnight candles even at dawn. With all those hardwork, I was given the opportunity to be our university's representative for the spelling bee in our city(is it a feat already for me? I think it is... :squinty eyes:). HAHAHA, naaaah! I think I deserve a reward, right kitty? I mean come on, I've been in this boring charade since my school life started and I still haven't received the satisfaction I want from those mountain of books and photocopies. I need some sort of side trip or maybe I just need to add a little twist of this infernal and boring school life. I need to cling to Earth and feel the Life it has given us (oh yeah!).

OH YES! I feel you too! I feel that this is non-sense! OH MY GOSH! T_T... okay, the continuation...

Being a very obedient person is not bad at all. However, being a little bit mischievous SOMETIMES will not affect the person as a whole for it is the basis for one's discernment and more importantly, great memories are forged from those little mischief stuff. Moreover, these experiences will make a person's life very interesting in much larger scale than just roughly and blindly following the rules and examples posed by those who are in the authority. As a person, the pilot of your own airplane and the author of your own book called LIFE, it is only you who is able to get a hold of your own pen and write everything what you've done so far in your life. Later on, after reading all those mischief that you have written, your smurky face will just blast a big smile stretching up to your ears! Even though books are great sources of knowledge, learning and acquiring new knowledge firsthand will tell you more about a certain thing. Experience is the greatest and most effective teacher. As Albert Einstein said, "You will never learn until you try something new".
